Jethart Callant's Festival

 

The Declaration of our 64th Jethart Callant will be on Friday 14^th May which will herald the start of our Festival celebrations for 2010.  The Committee are busy putting together the programme of events which will include many of the familiar and popular events as well as something new.  The events will hopefully include something for everyone, young and old, equestrian and non equestrian minded, as well as upholding our customs and traditions through the various Ceremonies which remember and pay homage to our vast history and rich heritage.

 

To arrange and conduct the Jethart Callant’s Festival involves a huge financial outlay each summer and to help with that we are inviting our supporters to become Patrons to the Festival.

 As in previous years the minimum donation is £10 per person.

Patrons will then receive:

• ·         An invitation to the Callant’s Reception in the Town Hall on Declaration Night
• ·         Complimentary tickets for the Callant’s afternoon and evening Socials
• ·         Complimentary tea/coffee in the Town Hall on Festival Day morning

 Patrons will also be able to apply for tickets to attend the Callant’s Luncheon on Festival Day in the Marquee after the morning Ceremonies.  Further information on how to apply will be sent to you on receipt of the completed application form below.
