Jethart Callant's Festival
On Friday 12th May from the Hustings, Honourary Provost Charlie Young declared the 2023 Jethart Callant, Mr William Robert Wardrop.
The 25 year old farmer from Harden Mains received a warm welcome from a large crowd of townsfolk before being carried shoulder-high from the Court House by his Right and Left Hand Men.

- Guest privileges at the Declaration Night Reception – 12th May
- Guest privileges on Investiture and Festival Day – 6 & 7th July
- Apply for tickets to attend the Callant’s Luncheon on Festival Day – 7th July - note due to restricted numbers for the lunch only those who have become patrons before or on Declaration Night will be given the opportunity to apply for lunch tickets. Tickets will be issued by ballot.
